Meet Lois

Lois’s education includes a BSW from UW – Green Bay and Master's in Social Work Degree and Marriage and Family Certifications from UW – Milwaukee. She has a certificate in Biblical Counseling from the Biblical Counseling Institute in Fairhope, AL. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) counseling since 2000 in all of the areas listed on the service page.

Lois is the middle child of 15 children, 3 older sisters, 3 younger sisters, 4 older brothers, 4 younger brothers.  She has 39 nieces and nephews and 36 Great nieces and nephews.  A lot of relationships!!  Her first career was working at her family's business, (meat/sausage plant and ice production and distribution).  After receiving her Associate Degree in Accounting, she went back to run the family business for 12 years before realizing that she didn't want to cut meat for the rest of her life:) thus her move to Green Bay and back to school.

Lois became active in volunteer and mission experiences, committing to giving 2% of her time to overseas missions every year.  Her travels have taken her to Kenya, Taiwan, Thailand, Haiti, Dominican Republic internationally along with volunteering with local and national mission experiences.  She brings this sense of helping others to her practice.  If she doesn't have the resources or information available for you, she will take the time to track one down to best support you in your difficult time.

In her spare time, Lois enjoys baking pies, making soup, visiting with friends, reading, biking, and walking.
